The Management of Lagos State University (LASU) wishes to inform all students that the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has opened the application portal for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to NELFUND, the application window opened on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 and will close on Thursday, December 31, 2026. 3b23

All eligible students of the University are advised to apply within the stipulated period through the official NELFUND portal: portal

Management further advises applicants to ensure that their *institutional and JAMB details are correctly updated* before commencing application, as unverified records will not be processed.

Eligible students should also ensure that information supplied corresponds with their academic records and avoid using unofficial platforms. 3b23

The NELFUND scheme covers full institutional charges and a monthly upkeep stipend of ₦20,000. For enquiries, students are advised to visit the NELFUND Desk Office, Directorate of Special Intervention, 3rd Floor, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, LASU.
