JAMB Warns Candidates About Fake Message
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has alerted UTME candidates to a fraudulent message circulating, asking them to reprint their slips for a non-existent resit examination. According to JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the message is fake and intended to cause confusion.
No Scheduled Examinations
JAMB clarified that there are no scheduled examinations at the moment, except for foreign examinations in nine countries and a planned mop-up examination for candidates who missed the main and resit exams. Qualified candidates will be notified once preparations are finalized.
Previous Examination Updates
Over 1.9 million candidates sat the 2025 UTME CBT, but a glitch affected 300,000 candidates' results in Lagos and the South-east. JAMB apologized and rescheduled the exam for affected candidates. A mop-up exam is also planned for over 90,000 candidates who missed the UTME.
