JUST IN 🔥🔥ASUU SUSPENDS STRIKE AT KADUNA STATE UNIVETSITY AFTER GOVERNOR INTERVENTION.

The Academic staff union of universities (ASUU) has called off the ongoing strike in KADUNA state University (KASU).

Prof. Abdullahi Musa the vice Chancellor of KASU told the public about this in a press conference in his office on Thursday ,Governor Una Sani who approved a N50 million monthly standing order for staff welfare support and has set up a negotiating team to discuss how to clear issues.He also said that the Governor has released N146 million for the payment of some unpaid salaries and students industrial work experience scheme allowances. The governor also endorsed the retention of certain percentage of internally generated revenue by the University ,after estimating the money needed to enhance financial autonomy .

KASU appreciates His Excellency the Governor for his support to the unresolved issues of it's staff payments,improving the condition of education and welfare of the academic and non-academic staff.

Due to this swift action of financial intervention of the Governor the university called out to the public that all students can return back to the school for continuation of learning progress.
