Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, is now accepting applications for the JUPEB Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This program offers a direct entry pathway into various courses at the university, bypassing the JAMB examination.

Available Subject Combinations:

👉 Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Agricultural Science

👉 Social Sciences: Government, Economics, Literature, and more

👉 Management Sciences: Business Studies, Accounting, and Economics

👉Humanities: Government, Literature, History, French, and Igbo

Program Duration:

👉 Minimum of one academic session

Entry Requirements:

👉 Five credits in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
