JUST IN 🔥🔥FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BAUCHI SECURES NBTE APPROVAL FOR NEW COURSES

The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi has received a letter of grant of accreditation for all its academic programmes from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

The newly approved programmes are as follows:

Higher National Diploma (HND):
✨ Crime Management
✨ Cooperative Economics and Management Taxation 
✨ Cyber security and Data protection 
✨ Artificial Intelligence 
✨ Strategic Communication and Media Studies 
✨Film and Multimedia Production 


Nation Diploma(ND)
✨Urban and Regional Planning 

Alhaji Sani Usman, the Rector of the polytechnic described this achievement as an unwavering verification of the polytechnic ability to give good skilled education and top-notch technical with the country's world best practices and developmental goals. 

He also acknowledged that the new courses display the polytechnic's dedication in the development of the economy, innovation of the media, urban planning and digital technology.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
