JUST IN 🔥🔥KWASU SECURES NUC ACCREDITATION FOR 25 PROGRAMMES.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has re-accredited all 25 undergraduate courses the school submitted for review in October/November 2024.

According to a letter sent to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, and dated April 30, 2025, 21 of the courses were given full accreditation, while 4 received interim accreditation. The letter was signed by the NUC’s Acting Director of Accreditation, Engineer Abraham Chundusu.

Courses like Taxation, Agriculture, Food Engineering, Biochemistry, and Physics got full accreditation. Many education courses also made the list, including Business Education, Arabic Education, and Computer Science Education.

The 4 courses with interim accreditation are French, Mathematics Education, English Education, and Yoruba Education. Full accreditation lasts for 5 years, while interim accreditation is valid for 2 years before the NUC checks them again.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jimoh, thanked the university staff for their hard work and promised that the school will keep supporting learning, research, and community service.
