The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced that successful applicants for the 5,000 teaching jobs will be able to print their appointment letters from the recruitment portal starting May 19. Additionally, applicants who were disqualified due to age or pending certificate issues will have another chance to provide valid evidence to support their claims.

Recertification Process:

- Applicants who feel wrongly classified can attend recertification sessions on May 14 and 15 at the Ministry's office.
- They are required to bring original academic and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) documents for verification.

Warning Against Document Forgery:

- The ministry warns that individuals who provide falsified documents or fail to prove their case will face prosecution.
- Statement of results for applicants who graduated five years or more ago will not be accepted by the panel.
