Mountain Top University (MTU) is proud to announce that it has achieved full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for five of its academic programs. The accredited programs include:

👉 Food Science and Technology
👉 Biology
👉 Biotechnology
👉 Mass Communication
👉 Music

This achievement demonstrates MTU's commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and compliance with national regulatory standards. The university's dedication to providing high-quality education has been recognized by the NUC, following a nationwide accreditation exercise conducted in October/November 2024.

In addition to this achievement, MTU has also received approval from the NUC to introduce five new academic programs:

👉 Nursing Science
👉 Medical Laboratory Science
👉 Nutrition and Dietetics
👉 Public Health
👉 Biomedical Technology

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
