The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted full accreditation to four National Diploma (ND) programs at the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, and approved the commencement of a new ND program in Office Technology and Management.

The fully accredited programs include Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Science Laboratory Technology, and Statistics. The institution now has 13 ND programs, including Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, Public Administration, Urban and Regional Planning, Estate Management and Valuation, Tourism Management Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, and Agricultural Technology.

The Rector, Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, expressed pride in achieving 100% success in the accreditation exercise, which was conducted between April 10 and 12, 2025. He attributed the success to the institution's commitment to excellence in technical and vocational education.

Abdul-Hameed thanked the NBTE, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Minister of Education, and other stakeholders for their support. He also commended the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff, and students on this achievement.

The approval of the new program and full accreditation of existing programs is a testament to the institution's academic growth and commitment to providing quality education.
