Joseph Ayo Babalola University is thrilled to announced the approval of 9 new programmes by the National Universities Commission. 


According to the NUC official letter dated April 30, 2025, the following programmes have been successfully endorsed:
✨Msc. Accounting 
✨Msc. Business Administration 
✨Master of Business Administration 
✨M.sc Entrepreneurship 
✨Hotel management and Tourism 
✨Law
✨ Industrial Chemistry 
✨ Economics

On behalf of the university, the Vice Chancellor has shown gratitude at this achievement and confirms JABU's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
