The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has commended Start-Rite School, a pioneer pilot school for Computer-Based Testing (CBT) exams, for its impeccable conduct and readiness during the exams. A WAEC team, led by Dr. Josiah Dangut, visited the school in Abuja to assess its preparedness and administration of the CBT exams.

The team praised the school's infrastructure, technical capabilities, and overall exam administration, describing the exams as seamless. The students demonstrated confidence and familiarity with the CBT format, showcasing their adaptability and technical skills.

The Head of WAEC National Office, Dr. Dangut, expressed satisfaction with the school's performance and encouraged others to follow suit. The school's Head Boy, Chibueze Ajuibe, thanked the WAEC team and noted that the students had not experienced any challenges with the new system.

The Chairman of Start-Rite School's Advisory Board, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, appreciated the WAEC team's commendation, stating it would motivate the school to maintain its high academic standards. Start-Rite School's participation as a pilot school for WAEC's CBT exams highlights its commitment to innovation and excellence in education.
