Request for Approval to Advertise New HND Programmes

Following the recent approval from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to launch new Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, I am seeking management's approval to advertise the eight newly approved programmes on the College website from May 13 to May 20, 2025.

The programmes include:👇🏾

👉 1. HND Marine Engineering Technology

👉 2. HND Mechatronics Engineering Technology

👉 3. HND Welding and Fabrication Engineering

👉 4. HND Strategic Communication and Media

👉 5. HND Public Administration

👉 6. HND Polymer Technology

👉 7. HND Agribusiness Management

👉 8. HND Pest Management Technology

The advertisement will enable interested candidates to apply for their preferred programme. A copy of the NBTE approval is attached for reference.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
