The Lagos State University of Education LASUED has commenced the Online Indigeneship Verification Exercise IIVE for the 2025/2026 admission session. This mandatory verification is for candidates of Lagos State origin who:

1. Selected LASUED as their first-choice institution in the UTME

2. Scored 170 or above

Eligibility Criteria: 👇🏾

👉🏾 Lagos State origin

👉🏾 LASUED as first choice

👉🏾 UTME score of 170 or higher

Payment Details: 🫰

👉🏾 Online payment only through the official LASUED website

👉🏾 Beware of unofficial accounts

Verification Process: 👇🏾

👉🏾 Physical interview and document screening at Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall, LASUED

👉🏾 Direct entry applicants of Lagos State origin must participate

👉🏻 Candidates from previous sessions (2023/2024 and 2024/2025) who were not admitted must revalidate their indigeneship

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
