Exciting times at mountain Top University as they launch there state-of-the-art Language Laboratory, featuring Sanako, a world-renowned language learning platform used in over 114 countries!

This game-changing facility will transform language education by enhancing fluency, pronunciation, and listening skills through interactive, AI-powered learning. With Sanako Study, educators can now manage classrooms in real time, personalise instruction, and elevate the learning experience to a global standard.

At the unveiling, Vice-Chancellor Professor Elijah Ayolabi expressed deep gratitude to Dr D.K. Olukoya for his visionary leadership and generous support in making this project a reality. His unwavering commitment to academic excellence continues to propel MTU to new heights.

Beyond teaching, the lab will serve as a research hub, fostering innovation in digital pedagogy, corrective phonetics, and language acquisition—empowering students with the skills to excel in an interconnected world.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
