Dr. Timileyin Oluseyi, a Nigerian doctor in the United States, has made history by winning all eight top awards at his medical residency graduation. This unprecedented feat has sparked pride across Nigeria and the global Black community. Oluseyi's exceptional performance, which spanned clinical excellence, leadership, research, and compassionate patient care, has earned him admiration from faculty and colleagues.

The program's director and department chairman honored Oluseyi with a traditional Yoruba gesture, prostrating flat on the floor, as a symbol of deep respect. This act was reportedly the result of deliberate research by the institution's leadership to acknowledge Oluseyi's outstanding achievement. A faculty member quoted the chairman as saying, "We've never seen anything like this. He raised the bar for this program forever."

During the ceremony, Oluseyi's colleagues playfully presented him with a wheelbarrow to help carry all his awards home, sparking laughter and joy. This lighthearted gesture underscored the significance of Oluseyi's achievement and the admiration he has earned from his peers.
