The Director-General has officially approved the schedule for the 2025 Batch 'A' Stream II Orientation Course. This course will take place across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Key Dates: 🔑

👌Orientation Commencement: Wednesday, June 11, 2025

👌Registration Period: Wednesday, June 11 - Friday, June 13, 2025

👌Registration Deadline: Midnight, Friday, June 13, 2025

👌Swearing-In Ceremony: Friday, June 13, 2025

👌Course Closing Date: Tuesday, July 1, 2025

Important Notes: 🗒️

👌Prospective corps members are advised to report to camp between Tuesday, June 10, and Friday, June 13, 2025.

👌Registration may close after the swearing-in ceremony on Friday, June 13, 2025.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
