Admission into National Diploma (ND) Programme at Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) for admission into the National Diploma (ND) Programme in Basic General Nursing at Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele, Ibadan.

Programme Details 👇🏾

The programme is a four-year course commencing in October 2025. Upon completion, candidates will sit for both the College and Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) Final Qualifying Examinations to qualify as General Nurses and be eligible for registration as Registered Nurses (RN).

Admission Requirements ✍️

To be eligible, applicants must:

👉🏾 Score not less than 200 in JAMB, with OYSCONME as their choice of institution

👉🏾 Possess WAEC/SSCE/GCE or NECO/SSCE/GCE with at least five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

👉🏾 Have required credit passes at not more than two sittings from the same examination body

👉🏾 Be at least 17 years old on admission

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
