The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into its Nursing Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Programmes Offered 👇🏾

1. National/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) in Nursing

2. Post Basic Perioperative Nursing (12-month programme starting in November 2025)

Admission Requirements 👇🏾

For ND/HND in Nursing:

• Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (not more than two sittings)

• Minimum age of 16 years as of January 2025

• UTME score of 180 and above

• OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences as first choice institution

For Post Basic Perioperative Nursing:

• Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (not more than two sittings)

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse

• Online application through the OAUTHC website https://www.oauthc.gov.ng

• Payment of application fees (₦15,000 for ND/HND and ₦15,000 for Post Basic Perioperative Nursing)

Important Dates 👇🏾

• Closing date for ND/HND application: August 15, 2025

• Post UTME screening exercise: August 26-27, 2025

• Closing date for Post Basic Perioperative Nursing application: August 8, 2025

• Written test: August 19, 2025

• Oral interview: August 20, 2025

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
