The chairperson of the branch, Jurbe Molwus, has confirmed that lecturers will continue to withdraw their services until their salaries are paid. This decision follows a National Executive Council resolution that directs branches to take action when salaries are not paid by the third day of a new month.

The union has instructed its members to abstain from lectures and statutory meetings, effective from July 4, 2025, if their June 2025 salaries are not paid by July 3, 2025. A strike monitoring team has been activated to ensure compliance.

The chairperson emphasized that this action is in line with the union's resolution and will continue until the salaries are paid. The union is committed to monitoring compliance and ensuring that members adhere to the directive.
