The General public is hereby informed that the Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its ND/HND Nursing Programmes across the three (3) campuses: Birnin Kudu Campus, Hadejia Campus and Babura Campus. Data capture for applicants will begin on 1st July 2025 and end on 22nd July 2025. Printing of examination slips will commence on 23rd July 2025.👇🏾👇🏾


MODE OF APPLICATION:

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and must have scored a minimum of 150 aggregate points in the 2025 UTME, with relevant subjects being English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Applicants who selected any of our campuses (Birnin Kudu, Hadejia or Babura) as their First Choice are encouraged to complete their data capture at any of the campuses using the link below.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidate MUST possess atleast five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sitting including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or NABТЕВ.

Candidates who have not sat for JAMB in the above subject combinations are not eligible.

NB: Only WAEC & WAEC, or NECO & NECO, or WAEC & NECO or NABTEB & NABTEB may be combined. The examination/screening date and time will be displayed on the examination slip, which will be available from 23rd July, 2025

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
