The Polytechnic, Ibadan has announced the release of National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested and qualified candidates can now apply for these programs.

Available Programs: ✍️

✓ National Diploma (ND) Programs: Various fields of study

✓ Higher National Diploma (HND) Programs: Various fields of study

Admission Requirements: 🎓

ND Programs:

 ✓ Five (5) relevant O'Level credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings

  ✓ The Polytechnic, Ibadan as first choice in the 2025/2026 UTME or change of institution

HND Programs:
 ✓ Relevant National Diploma certificate with a minimum of Lower Credit and 1 year industrial experience.

✓ Five (5) relevant O'Level credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
