Rivers State University invites candidates who chose the institution as their first choice during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria: 👇

✓ First Choice Requirement: Only candidates who selected Rivers State University as their first choice are eligible.

✓ UTME Score Requirement: Candidates must have scored 190 and above in the UTME for all faculties.

✓ O'Level Requirements: Five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, are required.

✓ Registration Period: July 14, 2025, to August 16, 2025

✓ Registration Portal: (https://rsu.edu.ng)

✓ Payment Method: Interswitch Verve-enabled cards

✓ Registration Fee: ₦2,000

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
