The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has raised concerns about possible foul play in the result of Chinedu Okeke, the top scorer in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Okeke, an Anambra indigene, scored 375 and applied for Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lagos.

JAMB discovered that Okeke was admitted to study Medicine at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), a year ago.
Okeke's records show different states of origin, raising suspicions about his identity.
JAMB suspects that Okeke may have engaged in foul play, as a student cannot matriculate twice.

JAMB's investigation aims to verify the authenticity of Okeke's result and determine if any malpractice occurred.
