The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) set to announce the commencement of applications for admission into its prestigious Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The JUPEB Programme offers an intensive advanced-level academic pathway designed for candidates seeking Direct Entry admission into 200 Level at FUOYE. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to enroll in any of the following faculties:

Faculty of Agriculture

Faculty of Arts

Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences

Faculty of Environmental Design and Management

Faculty of Engineering

Faculty of Sciences

Faculty of Management Sciences

Faculty of Pharmacy

Faculty of Law

Faculty of Social Sciences

Application Procedure

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
