The Management of Ibadan City Polytechnic, Ibadan, is pleased to inform the general public that applications are now open for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Prospective candidates who sat for the 2025 UTME but did not initially select Ibadan City Polytechnic as their institution of choice are also eligible to apply for the National Diploma (ND) programmes.

Interested applicants can obtain and complete the screening forms at Ibadan City Polytechnic, Campus 2, Alakia-Isebo/Iyana Church Road, Ibadan. Alternatively, candidates may visit the official portal at http://portal.icp.edu.ng to complete their application online.

It is important to note that there will be no Post-UTME for ND applicants.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
