The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN) is pleased to announce to the general public that the admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session has officially commenced.

Prospective students who selected KHAIRUN as their first choice and scored 150 and above in the 2025 JAMB UTME are invited to apply for admission into the University’s wide range of undergraduate programmes via the official admissions portal.

Candidates who did not initially choose KHAIRUN as their first choice are encouraged to visit any JAMB office or accredited CBT centre to obtain a Green Card and process a Change of Institution to KHAIRUN.

Application Procedure:

1. Visit the official admission portal: https://admission.khairun.edu.ng/#/applyApplication

2. Create an account using a valid and functional email address

3. Complete the online application form

4. Upload all required documents

5. Make payment for the application fee

6. Submit your completed application

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
