Sule Lamido University (SLU) hereby invites all First Choice UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 Academic Session to participate in the University’s Online Admission Screening Exercise.

Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) relevant credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings. Credits must include English Language and Mathematics.

Direct Entry Candidates must possess at least a Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND), a Merit in Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), or a minimum of seven (7) points in the IJMBE Advanced Level.

Registration Details

Start Date: Monday, 11 August 2025

Closing Date: Midnight, Sunday, 14 September 2025

How to Apply:

1. Visit the SLU website at http://admissions.slu.edu.ng and select UTME or Direct Entry (DE) under the online application portal.

2. Log in using:

UTME candidates: UTME Number and UTME Score.

DE candidates: DE Number, State of Origin, and Gender.
Upload a recent passport-sized photograph.

3. Complete your profile with accurate details.

4. Enter and upload your SSCE results (maximum of two sittings).

5. DE candidates must also upload original SSCE and A’ Level results (statements of results will not be accepted).

6. Proceed to POST-UTME Payment: Pay ₦2,000 (exclusive of REMITA charges) online or via any commercial bank using the generated payment schedule.

7. Print the Acknowledgement Slip after successful payment.

Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs (white background)

Certificate of Indigeneship

Important Notice:
Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme through JAMB should do so before the end of the registration period. Additionally, all candidates must ensure their credentials are uploaded to their JAMB profile.

Failure to complete the online screening within the stipulated period will result in disqualification from the admission process.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike.
