The management of the University of Calabar wishes to inform the public and prospective candidates for Pos t-UTME Screening that the University of Calabar, Calabar has officially closed her Post-UTME Registration portal for the 2025/2026 s creening exercise. To this end, and in consideration of the challen ges, candidates might go through in the course of travelling to the University for the Screening Test, Management has directed that th e Post-UTME Aptitude Test be cancelled.

Sequel to the above, Management has directed that the University would rather screen the candidates with their O’level results using the Point Tally System.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
