Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has officially drawn the curtain on its online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise, which covered both UTME and Direct Entry applicants, was a compulsory step for all candidates seeking admission into the institution.

With the process now concluded, attention shifts to the next phase — the release of the admission list. Candidates who completed their registration and met all requirements are encouraged to keep an eye on LASU’s official admission portal for updates.

However, applicants who failed to participate in the screening may have lost their opportunity to secure a spot for this academic year.

The university expressed appreciation to all candidates for their cooperation and assured them that the admission process will remain transparent and merit-based.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
