The College of Nursing Sciences (CONS) and the Federal College of Orthopaedic Technology (FECOT) hereby invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following full-time programmes:

AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES

1. 4-Year ND–HND in Nursing Sciences (Non-terminal programme)

2. 2-Year National Diploma (ND) in Orthopaedic Cast Technology (OCT) / Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology (POT)

3. 2-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) in Orthopaedic Cast Technology / Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology

4. 5-Year B.Tech. Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (in affiliation with Federal University of Technology, Owerri)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

O’ Level Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings (WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB).

UTME Score Requirements:

FECOT Diploma (OCT & POT): 180

CONS Programme: 190

B.Tech. Degree: 200


HND Programmes: National Diploma in the relevant programme (minimum Lower Credit) plus evidence of one-year Industrial Attachment.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age: 16 years

Birth Certificate or Sworn Affidavit of Date of Birth

JAMB UTME printout and result slip

One recent passport photograph with white background

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₦20,000.

2. Complete the application form via the Application Portal.

3. Submit a printout of the completed form along with all required documents to the respective school on or before 15th September, 2025.

4. Applicants must use their personal email address for registration.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
