The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has issued a crucial advisory to all candidates preparing for the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

WAEC emphasized the importance of strict compliance with exam guidelines and upholding integrity throughout the examination period.

The Council strongly warned against all forms of malpractice, stating that any violations will attract severe penalties as outlined in its rules.

Candidates are advised to:

Complete their registration early Cross-check personal details for accuracy Get familiar with the exam timetable once it’s released Come to the exam centres with only approved materials Obey all instructions from invigilators
