Lagos State University (LASU) informs all newly admitted full-time undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session that they are required to participate in the online admissions clearance exercise through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) portal.

Key Highlights

👉🏼Successful Candidates: Will be assigned matriculation numbers upon completion of LACACA.

👉🏼Unsuccessful Candidates: Shall be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admission.

👉🏼 LACACA Operation: A product of LASU Consult Limited.

👉🏼 Clearance Fee Payment: Required through the LASU e-payment portal.

👉🏼 Pre-requisites: Candidates must have paid acceptance, medical, and clearance fees before commencing LACACA.

Procedure for Payment of Clearance Fees

1. Visit Lasu Lasu.edu.ng/consult

2. Input JAMB Registration Number in the "Matriculation Number/Application Number" field.

3. Provide a valid email address and phone number.

4. Click 'Continue'.

Step-by-Step Approach to Complete LACACA Operation

1. Visit LASU website: https://www.lasu.edu.ng

2. Point to 'STUDENT' tab and click 'UG LACACA'.

3. Enter UTME registration number and surname, click 'Submit'.

4. On the dashboard, complete the following:
    - Validate basic biodata details.
    - Verify disability status.
    - Upload O’Level scratch card details.
    - Upload original birth certificate.
    - Upload original UTME results.
    - Upload original JAMB admission letter.
    - Upload scanned signature.
    - Submit application by checking "I Agree" and clicking 'Submit'.

5. Clearance progresses to 20% upon document submission for scrutiny.

6. Check clearance progress; corrections may require payment via LASU payment portal https://www.lasu.edu.ng.epayment

7. Upon 100% clearance, print LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and obtain matriculation number.

Timeline

👉🏼 Commencement: Wednesday, 17th September 2025.

⏱️Duration: Two weeks.

👉🏼Rejected students should check portal for rejection reasons.

👉🏼Some may need to visit Admission Office (3rd Floor, Senate Building, LASU Main Campus, Ojo) for guidance.
