The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has announced a one-week extension for the commencement of the second semester 2024/2025 examinations.

According to a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Yemi Ajibola, the examinations, earlier scheduled to begin on Monday, September 22, 2025, will now start on Monday, September 29, 2025. The decision follows appeals from various stakeholders within the institution and is aimed at ensuring a smooth and hitch-free examination period.

Students are urged to take advantage of the extension to complete all necessary registration processes, as the management emphasized that no further postponement will be granted.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike.
