The University of Ilorin has taken disciplinary action against 13 students for various acts of misconduct, following recommendations from the Students' Disciplinary Committee (SDC) at its 227th meeting on October 9, 2025.

Six students have been expelled, including Abdulhafeez Abdulhammed (Educational Technology), Esther Ajuma Matthew (Human Kinetics), Divine Tijesunimi Stanislous (Human Kinetics), Qozeem Abdulateef Mohammed (Centre for Open and Distance Learning), Sormidat Oluwatosin Lawal (Health Education), and Doris Comfort Falusi (History & International Studies). The expelled students are required to surrender all University property and are barred from campus access.

Six other students have been rusticated for the 2025/2026 Academic Session:👇🏻

- Idowu Oluwadamilola Owoade (Civil Engineering)
- Quayum Damilare Aderibigbe (Finance)
- Onimisi Abdulmajeed Aliyu (Quantity Survey)
- Emmanuel Olayeni (Water Resources)
- Sulton Abidemi Salman (Agriculture)
- Faruq (Finance)

One student, Isaac Chuks Okoh (Science Education), received a formal warning, with the university cautioning against repeat misconduct .

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
