🤠 BOOM🔥🔥JAMB ROLLS OUT CBT CENTER ACCREDITATION NATIONWIDE FOR 2026 UTME.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has kicked off the accreditation of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

A total of 848 CBT centres across the country are expected to be covered in the accreditation exercise, which began on Monday, December 15, 2025.

According to JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, the accreditation team has been urged to carry out their duties with diligence and a high sense of responsibility, ensuring that only centres meeting the required standards are accredited.

The accreditation process will assess key areas, including CCTV coverage, functional laptops, spacious registration points, and verifiable holding rooms, among others.

Prof Oloyede emphasized the importance of a credible accreditation process to the overall success of the 2026 UTME, assuring that adequate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth exercise.

The Board's IT Consultant, Mr Damilola Bamiro, explained that only centres that successfully conducted the mandatory automated system readiness test are eligible for physical inspection.

The accreditation exercise is expected to ensure that CBT centres meet the necessary standards to conduct a secure and successful examination.
