A devastating road accident on Zaria Road, Jos, has resulted in the loss of eight University of Jos (UNIJOS) students. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the fatalities, attributing the crash to excessive speeding.

Details of the incident:✍️

👉🏻Location: Zaria Road, Jos, Plateau State.

👉🏻Casualties: Eight UNIJOS students deceased.

👉🏻Cause: Speeding, as per FRSC report.

👉🏻Status: Investigations ongoing.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike.
