The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has introduced an online pre-enrolment option to streamline the National Identification Number (NIN) registration process.

Applicants can now use the NIMC Pre-Enrolment Portal to securely submit personal details, upload required documents, and book appointments for biometric capture, reducing waiting time at enrolment centres.

This initiative aims to improve data accuracy and provide a smoother enrolment experience. NIMC remains committed to delivering efficient, secure, and citizen-friendly digital identity services.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
