The Open and Distance e-Learning (ODeL) Centre of Mountain Top University (MTU) officially inducted its newest cohort of learners during its Third Matriculation Ceremony held on Thursday 26|2|2026. The event marks a significant milestone in the university's mission to expand access to quality higher education through flexible, technology-driven platforms.


In his keynote address, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Elijah A. Ayolabi, commended the matriculants for choosing a modern path to academic advancement. He described their decision to enroll in the ODeL program as "bold and forward-thinking," noting that the digital frontier is the future of global education.

A Call to Discipline and Integrity Professor Ayolabi highlighted that while the e-learning model offers unmatched flexibility, it demands a higher level of personal accountability. He urged the students to embrace the following traits to ensure their success:

☝🏻Integrity: Upholding honesty in all academic and digital interactions.
