The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) NABTEB and NECO have joined forces to improve Nigeria's public examination system. They're establishing a joint committee to harmonize operations, share best practices, and strengthen security protocols. This partnership aims to eliminate unnecessary duplication of efforts, improve service delivery, and enhance the credibility of public examinations.

⚡Unified Anti-Malpractice Strategies: Developing common standards to curb examination malpractice

⚡Harmonized Grading Systems: Ensuring consistency in grading across both organizations

⚡Joint Training Programs: Enhancing the skills of examination officers and supervisors

This partnership is a significant step towards addressing long-standing challenges in Nigeria's educational assessment landscape, including examination malpractice and standardization issues.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
