STATEMENT ON THE ATTACK ON THE UNIZIK STUDENTS
The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, regrets to confirm that a group of suspected herdsmen launched a violent attack on students engaged in night reading at Garuba Square, a popular study area on campus, last night.
The attack, which occurred at approximately 10:45pm, resulted in serious injuries to several students, including the loss of a finger for one student. The victims are currently receiving medical attention, and their conditions are being closely monitored.
