The Student Union Government has expressed concern over the safety of students, citing recent incidents where armed robbers targeted hostels, stealing valuables and leaving students traumatized.

In a statement, the Student Union demanded that the university administration and relevant authorities take immediate action to address the security lapses. The union's demands include improved lighting, increased security patrols, and the establishment of safe zones within and around the campus.
