The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has promised to review the recent tuition fee increase at its nursing school following a protest by students. The fee hike, which raised tuition from N90,000 to N580,000, sparked outrage among students, who took to the streets to express their discontent.

The Chief Medical Director of NAUTH, Prof. Joseph Ugboaja, acknowledged the increase but described it as "moderate" compared to other nursing schools in the region. The management has agreed to meet with student leaders to discuss the issue.
