The Management of Bishop Shanahan Specialist Hospital College of Nursing Sciences, Nsukka, hereby announces the release of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.  

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Basic Nursing and Basic Midwifery programmes of the College.  

Prospective applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.  

Admission forms are obtainable at the College Registry, Bishop Shanahan Specialist Hospital, Nsukka, or through the College’s official portal. Candidates are advised to complete and return all forms before the closing date.  

Dates for the entrance examination and oral interview will be communicated to shortlisted applicants via SMS and the College notice board.  

The College is fully accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and remains committed to training skilled, ethical, and compassionate nursing professionals.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
