The Polytechnic, Ibadan has officially announced the commencement of applications for its Higher National Diploma (HND) Full-Time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The institution described the opening of the admission portal as a significant opportunity for National Diploma (ND) holders seeking to advance their academic and professional qualifications through one of Nigeria’s leading polytechnics.

Application Guidelines:

Prospective candidates are required to apply via the Polytechnic’s official admission portal within the stipulated timeframe. To be eligible, applicants must:

1. Possess a valid National Diploma from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit.  
2. Provide evidence of completion of the mandatory one-year Industrial Training (IT).  
3. Meet specific departmental requirements for their chosen programme.  

The Management advised all applicants to carefully complete the online application form, upload all required documents, and make payments only through approved channels. Submission of incorrect information or failure to meet eligibility criteria will lead to automatic disqualification.

Candidates are strongly advised to adhere to all stated deadlines and monitor the portal for screening dates and procedures. Late applications will not be considered.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike.
