The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the official schedule for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation course. Here are the key dates and details:👇🏻


☝🏻Orientation Course: 22nd April – 12th May, 2026.

☝🏻Online Printing of Deployment by Corps Producing Institutions/Delivery of Physical Call-up Letters to Institutions: 19th – 21st April, 2026.

☝🏻Notification and Printing of Call-up Letters by PCMs: 19th – 21st April, 2026.

☝🏻Pre-camp Physical Verification of Credentials of Foreign Trained Nigerian Graduates: 24th – 28th March, 2026.

☝🏻Action by ICT Department: 9th – 17th April, 2026.

Prospective corps members are advised to keep checking official NYSC channels for updates, as all dates are tentative.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
