Confluence University of Science and Technology, Kogi State, has expelled four students following findings of misconduct contrary to the institution’s code of conduct.

According to the university, the disciplinary action was taken after investigations established cases involving alleged lesbianism, physical assault, and cyber misconduct among the affected students. The university stated that the decision was made in line with its disciplinary regulations and commitment to maintaining order and ethical standards on campus.

The institution noted that the move reinforces its zero-tolerance policy for actions that violate student conduct rules and undermine the academic environment.

Confluence University reaffirmed its dedication to upholding discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment for all students.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
