The Management of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, wishes to inform the general public, prospective applicants, and all stakeholders that the sale of application forms for admission into the Higher National Diploma [HND] and Professional Diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session has commenced.

Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into various accredited programmes offered by the Polytechnic.  

The application process, entry requirements, available programmes, and submission deadlines can be accessed via the official Auchi Polytechnic admission portal. www.auchipoly.edu.ng

Applicants are advised to ensure they meet the stipulated requirements and complete their applications within the specified timeframe. The Polytechnic will not be liable for applications submitted after the closing date.

                        1 minutes read ⏱️ 9:45pm The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of several officials of the Academic Staff Union of Universities [ASUU], Imo State University [IMSU] Chapter, in connection with the ongoing strike action by the union. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law. ASUU-IMSU had embarked on strike to press home demands including payment of arrears, improved funding, and implementation of agreements with the state government.
