The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the list of top-performing candidates in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with a candidate from Ogun State emerging as the highest scorer with 372 marks.

According to the board, the full list highlights candidates who scored between 367 and 372 marks, detailing their names, states of origin, and chosen tertiary institutions.

JAMB stated that the release is aimed at ensuring transparency and providing public access to the performance of the highest scorers in this year’s examination.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
