Babcock University has issued a public warning against the circulation and presentation of fraudulent academic certificates purportedly issued by the institution. 

In a statement released by the Office of the Registrar, the University clarified that it does not award a classification known as ‘First Class Upper’. According to the management, the only approved classifications at Babcock are First Class, Second Class Upper Division, Second Class Lower Division, and Third Class. 

“The attention of the University has been drawn to fake certificates bearing ‘First Class Upper’ and other unauthorised alterations. Babcock University does not recognise such classification and will not verify any document containing it,” the statement said. 

The institution further warned individuals and third parties involved in the production, sale, or use of fake Babcock certificates that it will pursue full legal action, including criminal prosecution. 

Babcock University urged employers, academic institutions, and members of the public to always verify certificates directly with the Registrar’s Office through the University’s official channels. 

The management reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the integrity of its academic records and the value of degrees earned by its graduates.
