The National Association of Nigerian Students , has called on the Tertiary Education Trust Fund to urgently upgrade the Information and Communication Technology facilities at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.

In a statement issued on Monday, NANS said the intervention is necessary to enhance digital learning and address growing concerns among students over the institution’s computer-based examination and academic processes.

The student body noted that inadequate ICT infrastructure continues to affect teaching, learning, and CBT-related activities on campus. It argued that an upgrade would align the polytechnic with current global standards in digital education and reduce the challenges students face during examinations.

“NANS calls on TETFund to upgrade Osun State Polytechnic, Iree’s ICT facilities to improve digital learning and address student concerns over computer-based processes,” the statement read.

The association further urged TETFund to prioritize the institution in its next round of intervention projects to ensure students have access to functional, modern, and reliable ICT resources.
